AdvisorIQ

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 12, 2026

The short version

AdvisorIQ is a public-record lookup tool. We do not require an account to browse, we do not sell data, and we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking. The advisor information on the Service comes from public SEC filings, not from you.

Information about visitors

You can use AdvisorIQ without giving us any personal information. Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical request data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security, abuse prevention, and operating the Service. We do not use this to build advertising profiles or to identify you personally.

Cookies and tracking

The Service does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We may use strictly necessary cookies or local storage to remember preferences (such as a default location) if you set them. If we later add optional accounts, this policy will be updated to describe what is stored and why.

Advisor and firm information

All information about advisors and firms displayed on the Service is public-record information that is already published by the United States government. It is sourced from public regulatory filings made available by the SEC through its Investment Adviser Public Disclosure (IAPD) system — information that investment advisers are required by law to file and that is already freely available to anyone at adviserinfo.sec.gov.

This is information about people and firms in their professional, registered capacity, not private personal information. We do not collect it from advisors; we re-present information the government has already made public, and we link back to the official SEC source on every profile. Because this information is a public government record, it is not personal data that we obtained from the individual, and ordinary requests to “delete” public records do not apply to the underlying facts. If you are an advisor with a correction or dispute, see our Terms and contact us.

Service providers

We rely on infrastructure providers to operate the Service — including a cloud hosting platform and a managed database — which process technical data on our behalf solely to run the site. We do not sell, rent, or share visitor information with third parties for their own marketing.

Information you send us

If you contact us, we receive whatever you choose to send (such as your email address and message) and use it only to respond and to handle your request.

Children

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
